On April 9, 2016, The KSGR purchased its first Texas Longhorn, Joice, From Pawhuska, OK.

Joice was KSGR's first and only Texas Longhorn. She had an impressive pedigree and was registered with the International Texas Longhorn Association. Joice produced five calves for the KSGR, most of whom went on to have successful show careers. 
Joice lived a long and full life at the KSGR and then went on to greener pastures in January 2023. We will forever miss her sweet kisses and funny personality.
