Krebs SG Ranch Cattle: Heifers

Our heifers are with a bull between 14 and 24 months old. We have a low birth weight here at the KSGR that we take pride in. All of our calves have weighed between 60-75 pounds at birth. Our Momma's take good care of our calves for us and both are low maintenance. When it's time to wean them off, the cows are usually already 3-4 months pregnant. Our calves do excellent in the weaning process and have a good weight to them. We wean our calves off between 5-7 months. At this time our heifers are ready to be sold.
